Hello, comrade scientists!

We would like to tell you about our find. One day a friend and I went to the forest to collect mushrooms. On the way home we noticed a strange stone lying in a field. Soon we went to the library and happened to read "Vokrug Sveta" ("Around The World") magazine. In the third issue we saw a note about a meteorite. The next day we went to look at this stone once more. It was not too big but was very heavy. It looked like a piece of old metal, rusted, with melted sides. On this we will finish our letter and wait for your answer.

Volodya Grigoriev and Rafis Yudin,
Students of 9th grade.
Ivanovka village, Tatarstan, 12.10.1983.
