On March 6, 1954, a stone meteorite fell in Solnechnogorsk region, a Moscow suburb.
The fallen meteorite was found by N.F. Lastochkina, a farmer of the Nikolskoye village.
V.T. Kotov, a junior lieutenant of police, immediately reported the meteorite fall to the USSR Academy of Sciences.
Lastochkina and Kotov collected fragments of the meteorite and contributed them to researchers of the Academy of Sciences who arrived at the place of the meteorite fall.
We thank Nadezhda Fedorovna Lastochkina, farmer of Nikolskoye village of Solnechnogorsk region, and Vasiliy Tikhonovich Kotov, junior lieutenant of police, and issue a reward of 500 rubles each for their assistance to Science.
